OCT Scanning at Biggs

OCT stands for Ocular Coherence Tomography, a sophisticated medical imaging technique that allows the eye to be examined in greater depth than ever before. The scan can help us detect eye conditions in early stages such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy that can begin beneath the surface of the eye and are not yet visible with a standard photograph.

The cost of an OCT scan is £25, or inclusive as part of your annual eye care if you are a member of BiggsPlan.
